    Conservative news site Gateway Pundit files for bankruptcy

    The Gateway Pundit, a far-right news site, filed for bankruptcy Wednesday, following litigation by election workers and others who faced harassment after the site made false claims that the 2020 U.S. election was stolen. Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft said in a statement that the bankruptcy filing was the result of "progressive liberal lawfare attacks" meant to "silence" his company. Hoft said the Gateway Pundit would continue to publish during its bankruptcy.

    Unifor protests to demand $10 million in monies owed to Wescast workers

    Today, Unifor members rallied outside the Wescast plant in Wingham, Ontario. The protest is in response to Wescast Industries continued refusal to pay approximately $10 million in severance and termination pay owed to workers who were laid off in 2023 following the Company's decision to cease foundry operations.

    Amazon Prime subscribers in Canada will be able to access the broadcasts along with match analyses and coverage, according to a joint statement by Rogers and the NHL. Financial details of the two-year deal were not disclosed.
