Azercell Selects Amdocs for Wide-Ranging Digital Transformation to Provide Enhanced Customer Experience

First major engagement between Azercell and Amdocs will see the Azerbaijan-based operator and its customers benefit from a wide-ranging modernization program

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Nov. 08, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), a leading provider of software and services to communications and media companies, today announced that it has been selected by Azercell to enable an optimized experience for the Azerbaijan-based operator’s five million subscribers in a wide-ranging digital transformation deal.

Azercell was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Baku. Under the multi-year agreement, the first major engagement between the two companies, Amdocs will modernize Azercell’s customer care, commerce and network systems, implementing a cloud-native, modular, microservices-based platform.

As well as ensuring an enhanced experience for Azercell’s consumer and enterprise customers, Amdocs’ pre-integrated solution will enable Azerbaijan’s largest mobile network operator by subscribers to improve time-to-market agility for new products and services while increasing efficiency through the streamlining and digitization of processes.
