Un buco da 22,8 miliardi nelle casse degli enti locali italiani lasciato dalla pandemia. A lanciare l’allarme è il Comitato delle Regioni Ue che, nella settimana dedicata agli enti locali europei, ha presentato le stime del suo ultimo barometro. L’impronta lasciata nel 2020 dalla pandemia sulle amministrazioni locali del nostro Paese - emerge dal rapporto - è pesante: strette tra le maggiori spese da sostenere per far fronte all’emergenza e le mancate entrate dovute alla crisi, la perdita registrata è in termini assoluta la più alta d’Europa dopo la Germania, dove Laender e città hanno segnato un rosso di quasi 112 miliardi.
