There were negative writing about $TSLA when stick went to $170. Look where it is today. There are some morons who will do the same about $wkhs. Do not pay any attention to what they write. They are morons. Buy it now and hold it. This is a real deal company. USPS $FDX $UPS to name a few will need electric Vans. E-commerce business is exploding exponentially. We live in new world. Electric vehicles, will have low maintenance. USPS tracks were made between 1987 - 1994. It is delapidated mode of transportation. UPS trucks, look like heavy metal on wheels. It swallow the gas. Which is a huge part of the experience. Maintaining old truck is not efficient. So it is a time, for them to switch and be more productive. Buy this stock now and let it ride.
This is a real deal. Lordstown, is a real deal as well. Nonedelutive 10% stake.

-Jan 24,2020- Is The Drone Industry Finally Ready To Take Off?
Cannacord Genuity Gives KTOS -Price $Target of $25...

    January 24, 2020 (Benzinga)

When United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE: UPS) last October made its first medical delivery by drone, it may have finally begun what drone advocates have been touting for a decade — a new era when unmanned flights may become just as normal as those in aircraft with pilots.

There are a couple of areas where drones are already being fairly widely used: military use and aerial photography. But the commercial uses that the industry has been talking about for years may finally be about to take off.

"We estimate the military will remain the leading driver of technology and innovation in the next five years, but the emergence of commercial applications (drone delivery) and select industrial applications will foster a broader ecosystem that we believe will eventually drive significant capital allocation and growth," wrote Canaccord Genuity analyst Ken Herbert in a recent note on the burgeoning industry. "The drone market should continue to attract significant capital and investments."

Here's a look at the three main use-cases.

    Commercial Use, Such as Delivery

In October, UPS's Flight Forward unit got the government's first approval to operate what essentially will be a "drone airline," and launched the first paid flight that flew "beyond line of sight," or past where the operator could see it. The drone, made by privately held Matternet, made a medical delivery in North Carolina.

"Package delivery and logistics represents one of the more visible and economic opportunities," Herbert wrote. "We believe this market is in its infancy but could easily surpass $5B globally by 2025 and is expected to see very fast growth."

In its most recent aerospace forecast, the FAA agrees, saying it expects the commercial drone market to triple by 2023.

Other big potential players: Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) and Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL), who both are expected to have drone delivery soon.

    The Military

Herbert estimated the global military drone market is worth about $5 billion. And it's not just drones that spy or fire missiles.

"We believe we are in the early innings of a major sea change in the use of unmanned systems across domains and for support purposes, such as logistics," Herbert wrote. "Moreover, the proliferation and advancement of drones is creating a vibrant counter-drone market."

It's also not just unmanned aircraft but undersea and land-based unmanned vehicles as well, he said.

Some of the big players in the design and making of military drones include privately-held General Atomics, and Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC). Major makers of drone engines include Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE: HON) and United Technologies Corporation's (NYSE: UTX) Pratt and Whitney.

Herbert highlighted another company recently, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc (NASDAQ: KTOS), which is working with Dynetics, recently acquired by Leidos Holdings Inc (NYSE: LDOS), on "swarming Gremlin drones" for a Department of Defense program The DOD envisions swarming drones that deploy from a larger mothership — like a transport aircraft — and swarm in large packs behind enemy lines for recon or search and destroy missions.

Herbert who has a Buy rating and $25 price target on Kratos.

    $FDX conversation
this is how I see it going forward:
    - With UPS being unionized, Fedx will never go away in the surface package space. Big shippers, managing risk, will contract with fedx to assure they can ship if UPS goes on strike.
    - Overnight courier (letter) product has $UPS and USPS competition in USA market. If UPS goes on strike, USPS cannot handle incremental volume which means Fedx has foothold based on shipper risk mitigation.
    - Air freight has a lot of competition both in NA and internationally.
    - Fedx management has made some decisions which have short- and medium-term implications. Age of air fleet and market share is affecting financial performance.
    - Fedx business model is tired and reinventing the company is a must. Any sane consumer has a negative experience with Fedx pricing, period. Similar to the ink jet wars between Epson, HP and Brothers. Printer companies are trying to improve customer experience by locking customer into ink programs, which reduce price and build brand loyalty. Transportation in UPS and Fedx is shopped by consumers because of negative consumer experience. Most of the time the purchase goes to USPS at a lower price. Fedx’s biggest customer if USPS so chew on that for a little bit.
    - However, Fedx business is based on the repetitive shipping community. Shippers make agreement/contracting decisions based on 1) service and service consistency, 2) total spend impact, 3) other services impact on spend. Fedx and UPS are negatively viewed in 1 and 2 and will be constantly cherry picked. For example, use a local courier service in a big city. Fedx and UPS invoices are constantly audited and caught with service violations. Auditing costs money! Fedx and UPS damage claims are a nightmare.
    - Amazon is projecting flat to negative holiday sales. How’s that relate to freight purchases for the next six months?
    - Stock market has a little room to go up and is near historical highs
    - And then there’s that trade war thing. International air freight is driven by contracted high value low weight products (ie. Tech) and “the manufacturer screwed up” spot pricing. There is lots of competition here! Saying china agreement will cause Fedx to rise? I don’t get it.
In my opinion, fedx has little upside until it gets through reinventing itself. With the beta at 1.77 any general market upswing will have a larger percentage jump than the market did. This gives the pumpers on this board lots of “I told you so.” On the flip side, any stock market downswing will cause a larger percentage fall than the market. We just witnessed that.
In my opinion, Fedx will be range bound for a number of years until age of fleet is managed through free cash flow and market share is improved. Play the dips…
Despite the financial stress, based on shipper need Fedx will not be going away. So I changed my mind about fedx, kindof. Live with it…
