First Sensor AG engages in the development, production, and sale of sensor chips, sensor components, sensors, and sensor systems for industrial, medical, and mobility markets worldwide. The company offers avalanche photodiodes light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensors; imaging sensors; broad mount and media isolated pressure sensors; hollow shaft resolver and RVDT/RVIT angular position sensors, LVDT/LVIT linear position sensors, liquid level switches, magnetic sensor switches, magnetic sensors, potentiometric sensors, rotary encoder sensors, LVDT/RVDT signal conditioning, tilt sensors, and inclinometers, as well as flow sensors. Its products are applied in advanced driver assistance, LiDAR, and other systems used in 5G and wireless equipment, aerospace and space, appliances, automation and control, automotive, Autosport, connected home, data centers and artificial intelligence, defense and military, energy solutions, e-mobility, industrial machinery, intelligent buildings, IoT connectivity, medical and healthcare, oil and gas/marine, personal electronics and wearable technology, rail, sensor applications, truck, bus, and off-road vehicles industries. The company was formerly known as Silicon Sensor International AG and changed its name to First Sensor AG in June 2011. First Sensor AG was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Berlin, Germany. First Sensor AG operates as a subsidiary of TE Connectivity Ltd.
