It is also involved in the production of li-ion cells, modules, and battery systems for ESS, industrial, and special applications; production of lead-acid batteries for traction, starter, and stationary applications; and recycling of end-of-life batteries under the FAAM brand. The company was formerly known as K.R.Energy S.p.A. The company was founded in 1999 and is based in San Potito Sannitico, Italy. Seri Industrial S.p.A. operates as a subsidiary of S.E.R.I. S.p.A.
