It generates electricity from hydropower, solar, and hydrogen sources. The company also provides gas, heating, housing, and mobility solutions; and car sharing and charging station infrastructure services, as well as engages in the construction, operation, and maintenance of distribution networks; and planning, construction, and service of combined heat and power plants. In addition, it plans and installs electrical installations; renovates roofs; combines photovoltaic systems with storage media; and develops and installs smart home controls. The company was formerly known as Energiedienst Holding AG and changed its name to naturenergie holding AG in May 2024. The company was founded in 1894 and is headquartered in Laufenburg, Switzerland. naturenergie holding AG is a subsidiary of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG.
