The company also engages in the production of tire and construction reinforcement and composite technologies; offers buses, midibuses, light trucks, and electric vehicles; and sale, marketing, and spare part services of passenger and commercial vehicles. In addition, it retails food and non-food products and electronic products through a network of multiple stores, as well as www.carrefoursa.com, capital market services through a trading app. Further, the company engages in the electricity production and supply with 3,727 MW installed capacity through hydroelectric, wind, natural gas, solar, and lignite sources. Additionally, it offers life, health, car, home, travel, and other insurance, and pension products; white and grey cement products; trading and investment activities; calcium aluminate cement, clinker, and ready-mixed concrete products; and tourism and information technology solutions, as well as operates university, museum, and hotels. The company was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
